MOSTADON mammoth illustration for Marketing support

Marketing
support.

That marketing job that’s been on the to do list for months? I’ll pick it up and get it done. Projects, fixes and one off jobs, handled by someone who’s done them before.

Marketing support

A safe pair of hands. For whatever needs doing.

Not every marketing problem needs a new strategy or a fractional CMO. Sometimes you just need an experienced marketer to roll their sleeves up and sort something out. A messy CRM, a data project, an exhibition stand, a channel that isn’t pulling its weight.

I’ve done most of it over 20+ years in B2B, across SaaS and marketing technology, regulated financial services, membership bodies, innovation centres and events. Recently I pulled scattered data together and set up the marketing for an events business, and that one off project has turned into an ongoing retainer.

Small jobs, big jobs, mammoth jobs. Tell me what needs doing. If it’s in my wheelhouse, I’ll scope it, price it and get on with it. If it isn’t, I’ll say so.

What you get

What marketing support covers.

Here’s the sort of thing I get asked to help with. If it’s marketing and it’s on your list, ask.

  • Duplicates merged and records enriched
  • Fields and structure tidied up
  • Platform migrations done carefully

Channel reviews

Email, live chat, webinars, paid or your website, reviewed end to end with a clear list of what to fix first.

  • An end to end review of the channel
  • What’s working and what isn’t
  • A clear fix list in priority order

Exhibitions and events

Stand design and build, logistics, promotion and the follow up that turns badge scans into pipeline.

  • Stand design and build managed
  • Logistics and promotion handled
  • Follow up that turns scans into pipeline

Marketing automation set up

HubSpot, Salesforce and Pardot, Dynamics or Spotler set up properly, with journeys and lead scoring that actually work.

  • Your platform set up properly
  • Journeys and lead scoring built
  • Connected to your CRM

Campaign delivery

Plan, write, build and launch a campaign, from ABM and direct mail to email and paid.

  • Plan, copy, build and launch
  • ABM, direct mail, email or paid
  • Results reported back clearly

Webinars and seminars

Topics, speakers, promotion, hosting and follow up, for sessions people actually turn up to.

  • Topics and speakers sorted
  • Promotion that fills the seats
  • Hosting and follow up handled

Content and copy

Website pages, case studies, emails and sales collateral, written to be read.

  • Website pages and case studies
  • Emails and sales collateral
  • Plain English that sells

Reporting and dashboards

Reporting that shows what marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue, not just activity.

  • Dashboards built in the tools you already have
  • Pipeline and revenue reporting
  • Simple views for the board

Process and housekeeping

Lead handling, naming conventions, consent and GDPR tidy ups. The dull stuff that makes everything else work.

  • Lead handling rules
  • Naming conventions and tidy data
  • Consent and GDPR sorted

FAQ

Questions I get asked a lot.

Straight answers. Anything else, just ask.

What sort of jobs do you take on?

Most marketing work you can think of, from a CRM clean up to an exhibition stand. If it’s not something I do well, I’ll tell you and, where I can, point you to someone who does.

How is it priced?

Either a fixed price for a scoped project, or a day rate for ongoing help. You’ll know the cost before anything starts.

Can you work alongside our team?

Yes. Most of the time I’m plugging a gap in an existing team, working with your people and your tools.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within a week or two. Small jobs and power hours can often happen sooner.
